DONORS & OTHER SUPPORTERS

Human rights will never be a self-funding enterprise.  We depend absolutely on our generous donors, volunteers and other supporters.

We enjoy and rely enormously on the support of local and international volunteers and typically have about six working with us at any one time.  Our Annual Reports list all those who help us each year.  People interested in working with us are invited to visit our volunteering page.

For both the day-to-day operations and our projects, we depend on financial support.  Our work is highly labour intensive, with our Programmes – advocacy, information, paralegal, research, outreach and children’s rights – depending critically on the employment of full-time staff to campaign, give presentations and briefings, undertake research and provide services and information.

We are therefore particularly grateful to those donors who have provided substantial core and Programme support, including:
HIVOS (since 1996)
Embassy of Finland (from 2006)
Evangelischer Entwicklungsdienst e.V. (EED)  (since 2002)
Norwegian Church Aid (since 1993)
Danish Centre for Human Rights (DANIDA)  (1993-6)
Save the Children, Sweden (since 2005)
Swedish NGO Foundation for Human Rights
Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA)
