BOARD OF TRUSTEES
DITSHWANELO has an independent Board of Trustees. Many Trustees represent partner organisations, such as Childline and the Botswana Council of Churches, and several helped found DITSHWANELO in 1993.
The key responsibilities of the Board are to:
Direct staff on all matters of policy.
Review and approve or reject financial and operating reports.
Select, appoint and dismiss personnel, and to set remuneration and conditions of service.
Members of the Board are also active in attending and participating in DITSHWANELO’s workshops and other activities, often providing opening or closing addresses.
